Moving from Duda
Three ways to do it. Most people pick the first one: about 10 minutes, and nothing goes down while it switches over.
1. Point your domain to us Recommended
Your domain stays at Duda (you keep paying them for it). We host the new site. You just swap two settings.
Before you start: we'll email you two nameservers that look like xxxx.ns.cloudflare.com. Have that email open.
- Domain stays at its registrar; remove Duda's records and set the registrar's nameservers/DNS to our host
- Duda's own connect steps: CNAME www to s.multiscreensite.com plus A records (values per Duda article)

Changes usually show up within a few hours, at most 24 to 48. Your old site keeps working until the switch finishes.
2. Move your domain to us
We take over the domain itself, so you get one bill (ours) for website, hosting and domain. It stays registered in your name and we renew it at cost.
- No official Duda page found about transferring a domain out; Duda is typically not the registrar - use the registrar's transfer steps
Timing:
Then send us: the authorization code (also called the EPP or transfer code). Paste it in your dashboard or reply to our email. Don't post it anywhere public.
3. Keep Duda, let us in to fix or rebuild
Best if you only want fixes or a rebuild and want to stay on Duda. You invite us; we never need your login.
Duda calls it: Clients & Team > Team Management (staff) or Client Management (per-site permissions) · Choose: Record with per-site permissions (include 'Custom domain' only if needed). Team members have access to ALL sites in the account.
Invite this email: hello@advancingwebsites.com
- Go to Clients & Team > Client Management
- Add you/contact, assign the site under Sites & Permissions and choose permissions
- Open you > Access tab, generate a Set up URL and send the invitation email (email cannot be changed afterwards)
- Team route: Clients & Team > Team Management invites a team member with a role (all sites)

Good to know about Duda
- Duda pages returned 403 to the fetch tool; details from search-result summaries.
- Duda sites are hosted by Duda and cannot be exported as files - rebuild.
- Most Duda sites are built by an agency; ask the agency to hand over or remove the site.
Heads up: we couldn't confirm every step here from Duda's own help pages. If a screen looks different, send us a screenshot and we'll walk you through it.
Stuck?
